Science Mentoring Programs

Science Mentoring Programs
For some students, science is a calling. They are drawn to it at a young age and know what they want to do.

Nancy Caruso

Executive Director

We have organically helped to cultivate young scientists through our programs.  For students who show special interest and motivation, we can offer opportunities to work beyond the classroom.  A few of these students have published their own original research while still in high school.  One was asked to present her work to the international Academy of Sciences.  Another produced a torque measuring paddle for collegiate crew sports.  Some have fostered relationships with potential future employers. All of these examples are driven by the students and mentored by Get Inspired.

These unique opportunities have produced several scientists: a kelp biologist, a medical doctor, a rocket scientist, an environmental geologist, aquatic farm manager, and an environmental attorney for the EPA.
